The journey has begun

I'm now safely at Kripalu in my room. Tonight I met the family I will be with this week on this journey.  It's a bigger class than I expected but the teachers are warm and nurturing and already I feel a connection with everyone in the room. Each day will start in silence. If you know me that's not going to be easy. My room is small and simple and the bed is so inviting it's been a long day. I'll soon be saying good night

We left at 9 AM and I had to say goodbye to my beautiful babies Shanti and Serena. They hate it when they see my suitcase go out the door. A light snow made the roads slippery but we made it in excellent time. Joe and I had scheduled appointments with the fabulous Lee Albert to help get our bodies back in alignment. It was a great way to start my week. Afterwards we had a wonderful meal together in Lee Massachusetts at a cute little Italian restaurant with the best lasagna although the butterflies in my stomach prevented me from eating too much of it. It will be vegetables and grains for me for the rest of the week. After saying goodbye 3,4, and 5 times Joe set off to go back home. I watched him from my window as he drove away.

Well it's after 11 PM and 5 AM is going to roll around awfully quick. Tomorrow will be an exciting day. The journey continues.

  1. I am glad you are there safe and sound! I am not familiar with Lee Albert. What does he do to get you all lined up?
